Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Paradise Valley in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a part-time Banquet House Person to help set up event rooms, arrange furniture, and keep spaces guest-ready for weddings, conferences, and other functions. You will move tables and chairs, place linens and decorations, assist with breakdown after events, report maintenance issues, and ensure safety while handling equipment.

Prior hospitality experience is helpful but not required, and reliability plus a strong work ethic are

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment and furniture.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety focused.
• Comfortable working on your feet for most of the shift.
• Event, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and layout requirements
• Move, arrange, and store tables, chairs, and event equipment
• Assist with placing linens, decorations, and setup materials
• Maintain cleanliness of event spaces, hallways, and storage areas
• Help with event breakdown and resetting rooms for the next function

• Support banquet staff with additional tasks as assigned

The Role

As a Banquet House Person, you support the banquet team by setting up event rooms, arranging furniture, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with breakdown after events. You help ensure all meeting and event spaces are guest ready and meet hotel standards.
