Job summary

Zachry Hotels in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to prepare, maintain, and reset banquet and event spaces for meetings, weddings, conferences, and special events. You will support the Banquet and Events teams by preparing rooms, moving equipment, and ensuring cleanliness in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous banquet, event setup, hospitality, or facilities experience preferred.
• Full-service hotel environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to BEOs and diagrams, including tables, chairs, linens, and AV equipment.
• Respond to event-related requests from Banquet Captains, Event Managers, and planners.
• Break down rooms after events and reset for upcoming events per new BEOs.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and report damages or maintenance needs.
