Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Setup Attendant to join our team in Newark, Ohio. The role involves reading venue diagrams and preparing dining spaces, buffets, and A/V setups for events, while supporting servers and maintaining clean public areas.

Minimum of a high school education and at least one year in hotel/restaurant serving are required. Candidates should be team players with strong communication and flexibility for shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education.
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role.

Responsibilities

• Read and execute meeting/dining room diagrams for indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Complete the physical set up and arrangement of tables, A/V & equipment according to the diagram.
• Assist in setting and breaking buffet tables and bar during and after an event is completed.
• Assist in setting a room with F&B equipment.
• Arrange buffets, stages, and podiums.
• Help servers complete their tasks, including arranging plates, running items to bars, and setting up beverage stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and assist servers with bussing tables.
• Exhibit teamwork and leadership to ensure efficient event setup.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
