Job summary

Q Center is seeking a Banquet Set-up Houseperson to join our team. The role involves the setup, refresh, tear down and maintenance of all meeting space, with evenings and weekends as needed. Starting rate for this position is $18/hour.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely setup of Banquet Event Order functions, maintaining cleanliness, breaking down after events, transporting equipment, and refreshing meeting rooms as required. This position supports our premier event spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions; including Audio Visual set up.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas.
• Breakdown after completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
• Transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment.
• Refresh meeting rooms as needed.

Education
