Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Connecticut is seeking a hands-on Events Set-Up team member to physically establish event environments for banquets and conventions. You will arrange basic event equipment, assist with space setup, and help ensure spaces are clean and ready for guests. You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work flexible shifts.

A valid U.S. driver’s license and clear communication in English are required; experience with room sets and equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle physical responsibilities moving and placing event space equipment.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
• Knowledge of meeting room sets and basic event equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Physically establishing the environment for all events, including basic equipment for banquets/conventions.
• Assist in monitoring event spaces for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Help guests move equipment, materials or boxes as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms and back-of-house areas for ballroom and convention center.
