Job summary

The Newport Restaurant Group is seeking a Catering Server for The Bohlin in Newport, RI. You will greet guests, serve food and beverages during banquet events, and assist with setting up dining areas for service.

We offer a competitive $22 per hour, flexible scheduling, and benefits including sick leave, 401(k) match, employee ownership, dining discounts, EAP, and more to support team members. Weekend and holiday availability is required, and prior serving experience is helpful but not required

Qualifications

• Must have a flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
• Weekend availability through October
• Prior experience a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers
• Setting up dining areas
• Assisting with set up of tables, linens, and chairs for full‑service banquet events
• Taking/placing orders
• Carrying trays and plates
• Serving food and non‑alcoholic/alcoholic beverages to customers
• Cleaning and clearing tables
