Job summary

Atrium Hospitality's San Marcos Embassy Suites in San Marcos, TX is seeking a part-time banquet server. You will set up and break down event spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the event cycle.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of serving experience with medium to large groups and will obtain Food Safety and Alcohol certifications within 90 days. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months serving experience for medium to large groups.
• Food safety certification or training within first 90 days.
• Alcohol certification or training within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces per Banquet Event Orders, including linens, settings, and A/V equipment.
• Serve food and beverages with focus on timing, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized banquet areas throughout the event cycle.
• Manage guest needs with professionalism, supporting the event contact throughout the function.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies to ensure a safe environment.
