Job summary

Pursuit Collection is seeking a full-time Banquet Lead in Whitefish, MT, starting September 2026, to guide banquet operations during events and ensure flawless execution. You will supervise setup, service, and teardown, review BEOs, and coordinate logistics with Culinary, Conference Services, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in banquet or related hospitality roles, strong leadership, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years of banquet, restaurant, hotel, or event experience required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) preferred.
• Hospitality POS system experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and willingness to assist wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet team members during event setup, service, and teardown.
• Review and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure events are delivered as planned.
• Coordinate event logistics and communicate timelines, expectations, and changes to the team.
• Provide exceptional guest service and act as a point of contact during events.
• Monitor event execution to ensure quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Support food and beverage service as required.
• Maintain banquet spaces, equipment, and supplies to company standards.
• Identify and report safety, maintenance, or operational concerns.
• Assist with training, coaching, and supporting banquet team members.
• Collaborate with Conference Services, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure successful event delivery.
• Support other hospitality operations as needed.
