Job summary

Stonehouse Catering with Hightop Hospitality is seeking a part-time Banquet Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant at FIVE Event Center in Minneapolis, MN.

You will clean, polish, and maintain dishware, keep the kitchen tidy, and assist with catering prep as needed. Flexible schedule with 1–2 days per week and more during peak season.

Qualifications

• Kitchen/restaurant experience required.
• Be able to stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule based on events.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sanitary and safe kitchen by mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning and equipment.
• Unload catering trucks after events and place items in proper storage area.
• If interested, candidate can also pick up hours working in the kitchen and assisting with catering prep.

Banquet Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant

Pay: $16.37- $18.00 per hour + gratuity opportunities; based on experience and skill level
Schedule: 1-2 days per week (with additional hours during peak season)
Location: FIVE Event Center – Minneapolis, MN

About the Role:

Stonehouse Catering with Hightop Hospitality is looking for a part-time dishwasher and general kitchen help. A Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and maintaining dishware. An organized individual will excel at this position by keeping a tidy dish area, maintain organized food storage areas and assist with cleaning projects throughout the kitchen.

Other Duties Include:

• Maintain a sanitary and safe kitchen by mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning and equipment
• Unload catering trucks after events and place items in proper storage area
• If interested, candidate can also pick up hours working in the kitchen and assisting with catering prep

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work days and weekends
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Good organization and communication skills
• Be able to work a flexible schedule based on events
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Kitchen/restaurant experience
• Self-motivated, reliable, punctual
• Strong attention to detail and consistency

Schedule:

• Year-round role with consistent part-time hours and increased scheduling during peak event season (May through early Nov)
• Approximately 1-2 day per week (with additional hours during peak season)
• Shift times are flexible but Monday availability required
• Regular availability required for Fridays and Saturdays during peak season
