Recess Hotel & Club is seeking a Banquet Culinary Supervisor to lead food preparation and execution for meetings, weddings, and other banquet events in Savannah, GA. The role is hands-on and works closely with the culinary leadership team to keep banquet production organized, on schedule, and aligned with established standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cook, banquet cook, or professional kitchen experience required.
• Previous lead cook, supervisor, or informal kitchen leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute banquet menu items according to recipes, event specifications, presentation standards, and service expectations.
• Coordinate daily banquet prep and production based on event schedules and priorities.
• Provide direction to cooks and culinary team during preparation and event execution.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation; ensure timely delivery of food.
• Train and coach culinary team on recipes, standards, and kitchen procedures.
• Support waste reduction and portion control while upholding standards.
