Banquet Coordinator – Hilton Columbus Downtown (HOT0BZUL)

Hilton Columbus Downtown is on the lookout for a Banquet Coordinator to join their team! This role offers a fantastic chance to be part of one of downtown's largest hotels. As a Banquet Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the front and back of house banquet teams with administrative tasks.

This role is an hourly based position with the schedule of Monday - Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm.

What will I be doing?

As our Banquets Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the banquet management team as well as the culinary management team.

As a Team Member your essential functions in this role include such things as:

  • To organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals.
  • Timely communication to internal clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person.
  • Manage the BEO books for both banquet and culinary teams by completing Daily change logs, distros, and weekly Batch.
  • Assist in managing the culinary teams BEO walls.
  • Creating food labels for events. Consulting with the culinary team, when necessary, to update dietary items. Save in appropriate files, print, and distribute to appropriate events.
  • Assist with creating Captain’s Reports.
  • Assist with entering banquet checks into POS.
  • Assist with entering banquet schedule into Unifocus.
  • Other duties as necessary based on business needs.
