Job summary

Limelight Hotels is seeking a Banquet Cook III to support station assignments and prepare hot and cold foods for the restaurant, following the Banquet Chef’s specifications.

This role focuses on high-quality cooking, food safety, timely service, and working with the kitchen team under the Banquet Sous Chef.

Pay ranges from $21.00 to $25.20 per hour, with actual pay based on budget and experience; applications accepted until August 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• Proficient written and verbal English communication; Spanish a plus.
• Experience in guest-facing roles.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques: baking, broiling, grilling, sauté, roasting, blanching, etc.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of sauces and dressings; strong time management.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing flows.
• Collaborative mindset to work with kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve items according to standardized recipes and chef specifications.
• Follow daily prep list to ensure items are ready for service.
• Cook food to order and maintain hot/cold stations.
• Organize kitchen items and maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Set up, work, and breakdown station; communicate with team.
• Submit production needs for next day by shift end.
• Other duties as assigned.
