A leading hotel company is seeking a Banquet Cook to ensure the flawless preparation and presentation of menu items. You will be responsible for preparing food according to recipes, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring a great dining experience. Flexibility is key as you will be required to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends.
Our Banquet Cook is responsible for the flawless preparation and presentation of the menu created by the Executive Chef and for making sure our guests receive an unparalleled dining experience. No pressure.
Here are just some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for on a daily basis:
Where You’ve Been:
You have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s experience as a prep line/cook. Most importantly, you’re someone who is capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations. If that sounds like you, go ahead and apply.
When You’re Here:
This probably goes without saying but you’ll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and working on slippery floors. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
