Job summary

Oki Golf seeks a Banquet Cook for The Golf Club at Newcastle in Washington. You will work in view of guests to prepare dishes and serve patrons with a friendly demeanor, upholding clean and organized standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes, operating the POS, and ensuring food safety, while maintaining high-quality ingredients and timely service. The position offers overtime eligibility and tip opportunities, with comprehensive benefits for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet or short-order cooking with ability to prep and plate efficiently.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and common food items.
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality and safety.
• Familiarity with line cook duties across stations.

Responsibilities

• follow recipes, prep instructions, and presentation standards.
• Operate POS system and prepare/serve beverages when needed.
• Prepare items in the order received and maintain food quality.
• Maintain ingredient par levels and inventory.
• Ensure safety regulations and OSHA/WISHA compliance.
• Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH teams.
• Deliver products to guests in a timely manner.
• Uphold a clean, orderly appearance and uniform.
• Assist with storing deliveries and monthly inventory.
• Other tasks as assigned.
