Job Overview:

Ensure proper service through quality control and sanitation levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow recipes and verify use records for all items served, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor setup before meal functions for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment and uphold a 'clean as you go' policy.
  • Prepare food consistently following recipes, production, and portion standards.
  • Manage food preparation timing and storage, including dating and rotating perishables.
  • Assist in controlling food costs, waste, and usage according to SOP.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge of cooking practices and procedures.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, push, pull, and carry items.
  • Periodic climbing and bending required.
  • Full mobility and ability to travel 30-50 feet throughout shifts.
  • Continuous standing during preparation and service.
  • Moderate hearing and vision for safety and quality control.
