Job summary

Levy, a leader in hospitality, seeks a Banquet Chef to execute cuisine that exceeds guest expectations and to provide strong leadership while meeting cost goals.

You will help maintain high standards, manage kitchen operations, and support multiple Levy locations as needed in a dynamic events environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a culinary leadership position.
• A culinary degree is preferred.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Understanding of financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Establishes quality food and presentation standards for events and venues.
• Communicates company guidelines to kitchen staff and ensures adherence.
• Ensures the kitchen has necessary equipment and supplies to operate.
• Contributes to sales growth through thoughtful product selection and pricing.
• Meets purchasing, scheduling and culinary standards goals.
• Achieves all assigned cost goals and maintains budget expectations.
• Promotes a cooperative work climate to maximize productivity and morale.
• Supports other Levy locations as needed.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Job Summary

As a Banquet Chef, it will be your primary responsibility to execute cuisine that exceeds guest expectations and provide strong leadership while delivering cost goals and living our Company vision and values.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Establishes quality food and presentation standards
• Ensures company guidelines and standards are communicated to team members
• Ensures the kitchen team has the necessary equipment and supplies
• Contributes to sales growth through product selection, execution, pricing and creative development
• Achieves purchasing, scheduling and culinary standards
• Achieves all assigned cost goals
• Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
• Additional responsibilities, as needed
• Supporting other Levy locations, as needed

Job Requirements
