We are looking for a Banquet Lead-AV Specialist

Pay scale: $20-24.00/hour

What You’ll Do As Our Banquet Captain

As our Banquet Lead, you’ll take the reins in ensuring flawless event execution and exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervising the Banquet team with enthusiasm, precision, and clear direction.
  • Partnering with the Banquet Manager to ensure every detail, from audio-visual setups to food and beverage service, exceeds guest expectations.
  • Leading by example to foster a culture of exceptional guest service, quality, teamwork, and timeliness.

Guest Service Excellence

  • Providing outstanding service to all guests, making their event experience unforgettable.
  • Greeting guests warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
  • Communicating effectively with guests about menu options and special requests.
  • Anticipating guest needs and monitoring their satisfaction during dining and event experiences.

Event Execution & Support

  • Overseeing setup, execution, and cleanup of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Assisting with food and beverage delivery from staging areas to guests as needed.
  • Helping other team members during peak periods to meet guest requests promptly.
  • Training team members on serving plated and reception-style meals (training provided).

Operational Excellence

  • Performing side work to prepare for upcoming events.
  • Ensuring all service areas are kept clean and safe at all times.
  • Maintaining a professional and personable appearance to represent the venue.
  • Responding promptly and courteously to guest and team member requests.

Other Responsibilities

  • Taking on additional duties as assigned to support the success of events and the team.
