Job summary

Hilton President Kansas City is seeking a dedicated Banquet Captain to lead our banquet team during events. This part-time role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to coordinate banquet operations and timings.

You will oversee setup, service styles (plated and buffet), guest interactions, and ensure adherence to BEOs and company standards. Competitive pay starts at $11 per hour base with tips, plus a $500 bonus after 90 days and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in a high-volume banquet setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet team and coordinate operations during events.
• Interpret and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Supervise setup, service, and cleanup to ensure standards.
• Coach and delegate tasks to staff.
• Greet clients and respond to requests.
• Oversee plated and buffet service and beverage operations.
