Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Banquet Captain to join our team. The role focuses on directing banquet operations, supervising staff and coordinating room setups to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and exceptional guest service, with opportunities for growth within a large hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School education minimum.
• At least 1 year in a hotel customer service role.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director for the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage servers and as a personal representative of the hotel to banquet guests.
• Provides ongoing direction, supervision and monitoring to banquet staff.
• Coordinate all aspects of room/facilities set-up, including audio/visual and F&B to ensure guest satisfaction and profit maximization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel customer service role
• Food safety certification preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred
