Newport Harbor Island Resort in Newport, RI, is seeking a Banquet Captain to lead our banquet team and ensure flawless events. You will coordinate servers, maintain service quality, and work closely with event planners and the culinary team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• One year banquet attendant/server experience
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and catering operations
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license, where applicable

Salary Range
