  3. Manage the planning and organization of the banquet department, including maintaining the banquet logbook, updating BEOs, and ensuring all event details are followed through.
  4. Inspect banquet rooms, service areas, and kitchens for cleanliness, proper setup, and sufficient supplies and equipment before the event.
  5. Oversee the execution of food service, ensuring food counters are set and ready at the scheduled time.
  6. Assign tasks and direct bartenders and servers, ensuring they are informed about specialty cocktails, liquor requests, and any other specific needs from the host.
  7. Respond quickly and accurately to guest requests, ensuring a high level of service.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant licenses and certifications, including liquor licenses, as required.
  9. Plan the event flow and guide the team to execute it in a timely, quiet, and courteous manner.
  10. Monitor the progress of the event, ensuring that all courses are served at the appropriate time and guests’ needs are met.
  11. Enforce and adhere to all club standard policies and procedures to maintain consistent quality service.
  12. Supervise and train staff on proper banquet room setup, food and beverage service, and event breakdown, as directed by the manager.
  13. Communicate frequently with the banquet chef and kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between food production and service.
  14. Coordinate all function details with banquet, conference planning, and kitchen staff.
  15. Hold pre-shift and pre-function meetings to prepare the team for upcoming events.
  16. Actively participate in banquet room setup and food and beverage service.
  17. Maintain ongoing communication with event hosts to ensure their needs are met and any last-minute changes are addressed.
  18. Ensure all guest checks are properly billed and signed according to arrangements.
  19. Oversee daily sales reconciliation, ensuring accurate posting and reporting to the Front Office.
  20. Follow all security, safety, emergency, and energy procedures as outlined by the club.
  21. Maintain high grooming and hygiene standards for all banquet staff.
  22. Monitor the profitability of events by ensuring portion control, minimizing waste, and managing supplies effectively.
  23. Assist the Banquet Manager in creating and maintaining schedules for equipment maintenance, repairs, and cleaning.
  24. Lead, guide, and motivate banquet staff by setting performance standards and providing feedback to improve team performance.
  25. Complete all the required training to support your role and the department’s operational needs.
  26. Perform any other duties assigned by the Banquet Manager.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and lead service teams in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
