Description

At Caf Sevilla, the Busser position is responsible for assisting the wait staff during shifts while maintaining a clean and organized venue for employees and guests. Success in this role requires passionate communication of Sevilla's unique characteristics, positive contribution to the work environment, and adherence to Company, state, and federal regulations.

Positions

There are two types of Busser roles: Stocking Busser (BS) and Busser Runner (BR). On busier shifts, specific roles are assigned and listed on the Daily Player's List. If only one Busser is working, they perform duties for both roles. Responsibilities include:

• Using opening and closing checklists to track procedures
• Creating a positive guest experience and encouraging repeat visits
• Responding promptly to guest needs
• Supporting wait staff in food delivery and supply retrieval
• Preparing dining areas and maintaining cleanliness
• Monitoring ticket times and ensuring food accuracy
• Communicating with host staff about table availability
• Adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues
• Performing other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

• Proper clock-in/out procedures and break management
• Participating in staff meetings and reporting concerns
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related experience or training in a fast-paced, fine dining setting
• Knowledge of safety and sanitary requirements
• Current Food Handler's Card and LEAD Card
• Ability to learn POS and timekeeping systems

Work Environment

• Typically loud and in close quarters
• Occasionally hot
• Requires maintaining a professional appearance
