Located in Downtown LA’s cultural corridor, Conrad Los Angeles is the city’s newest luxury destination, featuring over 300 rooms, a world-class spa, a 16,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck, 12,000 square feet of event space, and three dynamic dining experiences—including our signature restaurant, San Laurel.This includes a signature restaurant, outdoor restaurant, lobby bar, and in-room diningall in partnership with Chef Jose Andres' award-winning restaurant group, JoseAndresFoodGroup.

In this role as a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and/or food to guests, ensuring outstanding guest service.

The ideal candidate will have previous bartending and guest services experience. Previous luxury banquet experience is preferred. Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, alcohol service, and basic math skills for handling transactions. Good English communication skills are required for taking orders and completing requisitions. Manual dexterity is necessary for garnishing drinks, handling glassware, and operating POS systems. The ability to work standing for long periods, in confined spaces, and in a high-volume environment is essential. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Certification in Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Card is required within 30 days of hire if applicable.

What will I be doing?

• Proper setup of banquet bar, including requisitioning and stocking all necessary supplies.
• Maintaining stock and freshness of garnishes and perishables.
• Greeting guests courteously, promoting drinks, mixing and garnishing drinks, and checking IDs.
• Handling cash, verifying charges, and balancing registers.
• Securing all beverage and food items after shifts.
