Job summary

Austin Country Club in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated full-time Banquet Bartender to join our bar team for private club events. You will mix and serve classic and craft cocktails, manage event bars, and ensure top-tier guest service while maintaining health standards.

Willingness to work flexible weekday/weekend/holiday shifts is essential, with a compensation structure including base pay and service charges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of bartending experience in a restaurant or club (club experience is a plus).
• TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications.
• Base knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor.
• Ability to create classic and craft cocktails.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to move and lift up to 55-90 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Set up portable bars for events and ensure the bar is stocked.
• Prepare garnishes and ingredients for service.
• Mix, prepare, and serve classic and craft cocktails.
• Maintain accurate records and keep the bar area clean per health codes.
• Collaborate with team members and managers to meet guest needs.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and staff meetings.
