Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time banquet bartender in Ithaca, NY to manage cash and beverage service during events. The role requires attention to inventory, accurate cash handling, and adherence to venue policies.

You will support daily sales flow, assist with peak-hour coverage, and ensure paperwork is completed for cashier duties. Training on beverage pricing and safety procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older (where applicable).
• Basic working knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Sufficient math ability to accurately count money and make change quickly.
• Basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation.
• Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned bar.
• Performs location worker assignments.
• Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees.
• Plans for daily sales flow based on projections.
• Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities: physical inventory stand sheet, cash slips.
• Verifies the proper item prices to the beverage menu.
• Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
• Performs location worked duties as assigned.
• Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
