Qualifications

Job description

Embark on a rewarding journey with our team as a Bartender. As a key player in our vibrant establishment, you will not just serve drinks; you will be the curator of heartfelt moments, an alchemist of flavors, and the heartbeat of our social haven.

Responsibilities

• Be thoroughly familiar with beverage and wine.
• Follow all standard beverage recipes and adhere to the established pour policy without deviations.
• Operate within full compliance of state liquor laws and regulations. Be thoroughly familiar with DWI prevention procedures and techniques.
• Precheck all liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages prior to serving when not a hosted function, ensuring all charges go to the master account.
• Follow established requisitioning procedures for the banquet bar setup.
• Ensure bar areas are properly secured and locked at the end of the shift.
• Set up banquet bars utilizing banquet beverage requisition for assigned function per BEO.
• Prepare fruit (garnish) tray and ensure the bar has all mixers and equipment such as pourers, strainers, shakers, etc. to prepare drinks properly.
• Return stock counts for all beverages at the end of the function.
• Clean banquet bar and equipment at the end of the function before returning them to the storage area.
• Never leave the bar unattended and always maintain a professional posture.

The starting pay rate for this position is $30.00 per hour plus tips. This is the pay rate that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
