Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a Barback in Banquets to support bartenders during banquet events at the Miramar Beach location. You will help keep bars stocked, clean, and ready for service, enabling bartenders to serve guests efficiently.

The role emphasizes teamwork, quick pace, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards, with opportunities to access resort amenities and discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from bartenders and banquet managers.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by banquet event schedules.
• Must be of legal age to handle alcohol in the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and Inventory Management: Replenish bar supplies and ensure stations are stocked.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of bar area and equipment.
• Customer Service Support: Assist bartenders and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Event Preparation: Set up and break down bar stations for events.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow resort policies and alcohol-safety regulations.
