Repair and maintain all assets as needed at the Center. This position provides a high-quality catering service for banquets.**Essential Duties**Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Serves food to guests with a high level of customer service.* Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork.* Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Convention Center.* Must strive to provide guest with a memorable experience and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs.* Assist with collecting all banquet equipment including flatware, China, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.* Prepared garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.* Clean and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.* Assist with the preparation and set-up of the event room when necessary.* Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.* Establish and maintain positive client relationships.* Breakdown tables and banquet equipment after each event.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Working Conditions*** Daily lifting up to 20 lbs., constant reaching, stooping, standing and walking. Must be able to balance serving trays and have good manual dexterity.* Required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear.* This position requires work inside and outside of the building, parking lots included and some exposure to adverse conditions.* Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
