EC-United is proud to partner with a higher education institution to identify a Banner ERP Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for providing strategic oversight and day-to-day management of the institution’s ERP system. The ERP Manager ensures the system effectively supports administrative, financial, student, and human resource functions. This position works closely with functional and technical teams to optimize processes, enhance reporting, ensure data integrity, and improve the user experience across campus departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the planning, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the ERP system (Ellucian Banner)
• Serve as a liaison between IT and business units (Finance, HR, Student Services, etc.) to align ERP solutions with organizational needs
• Manage ERP-related projects including upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements
• Ensure system integrations, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities meet institutional standards
• Supervise and mentor ERP analysts, developers, and support staff
• Maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides
• Ensure data privacy, system security, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FERPA)
• Monitor ERP performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Coordinate with vendors and external consultants for system support and enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience managing ERP systems, preferably within a higher education environment
• Demonstrated experience with the Ellucian Banner ERP platform
• Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects

Skills

• Strong understanding of business processes in higher education (Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, HR, Finance, etc.)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SQL, Linux, system integration, and data reporting tools is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Ellucian Banner
• Familiarity with data governance and business intelligence tools
• Experience in change management and training during system rollouts
