Job summary

Bloomberg Intelligence is seeking a Banks Equity Research Associate to support US and Canadian universal banks through financial modeling, data analysis and written research. Located in New York, you will work with BI datasets and issuer calls to develop insights and actionable narratives.

You will collaborate with Bloomberg terminals and data teams, applying AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and research quality. Two or more years in financial research is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• At least two years of financial market research or industry experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong financial statement analysis and modeling experience.
• Ability to identify data anomalies and think critically.

Responsibilities

• Support daily research activities: data aggregation, modeling and written research.
• Monitor company developments and macro themes affecting banks.
• Synthesize results into concise narratives communicating the story behind data.
