Job summary

CardWorks Financial Group seeks a Bankruptcy Specialist to join the Collections team. You will monitor consumer loan accounts in bankruptcy, ensure accurate coding, and comply with bankruptcy laws according to established guidelines.

This role may be phone-based or off-phone, handling calls, reviewing reports, processing documents, and coordinating with attorneys, trustees, and customers to ensure timely, compliant actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service, collections, or processing is preferred.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy processes and related platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handles inbound and outbound calls related to consumer loans under bankruptcy and coordinates with attorneys, trustees, and customers.
• Reviews and processes reports, updates systems, and tracks bankruptcy actions.
• Maintains bankruptcy calendars and documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identifies trends and supports process improvements with leadership.
