Job summary

Tucker Arensberg, P.C. seeks an attorney to join the Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice group in our Pittsburgh office. The attorney will work closely with senior shareholders on the full spectrum of bankruptcy cases for commercial clients.

Responsibilities include drafting forbearance agreements, bankruptcy plans, and related documents; making court appearances; and assisting with financing transactions. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of experience in commercial bankruptcy and foreclosure,

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• 3–6 years’ experience in commercial bankruptcy and foreclosure practice preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and persuasive writing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and project-management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the general Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice.
• Support clients in broad and varied areas of law.
• Draft and negotiate forbearance agreements, bankruptcy plans, and corporate documents.
• Make regular court appearances in bankruptcy proceedings, receiverships, and related litigation.
• Assist borrower representation in financing transactions.
• Prepare motions, briefs, plans and other bankruptcy documents.
• Assist in preparation of expert reports and mediation statements.
