Keystone Distinction Group in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate to join its creditors' rights and financial services litigation practice. The position involves representing lenders and servicers in complex insolvency matters and related litigation.

The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top-tier law school, active Illinois bar admission, 3–6 years of bankruptcy/restructuring or related experience, and strong writing and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• JD from top-tier law school
• Active Illinois Bar Admission; multi-jurisdictional admission welcomed (Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, or Wisconsin)

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, servicers, and other creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring matters, and related litigation
• Handle commercial foreclosures, receivership actions, loan enforcement matters, and collection proceedings
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, e-discovery, and court appearances
• Draft and negotiate workout, settlement, forbearance, and restructuring documents
• Develop litigation strategies to protect client interests and maximize recoveries
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice disciplines on insolvency, restructuring, and commercial litigation
• Maintain direct client contact and provide practical, business-focused legal advice
