Job summary

Our client, a well-established national law firm, seeks a Bankruptcy Paralegal to support attorneys handling sophisticated commercial insolvency and restructuring matters.

The role offers a collaborative, team‑oriented environment and involves monitoring case dockets, preparing proofs of claim, assisting with pleadings and motions, and conducting UCC and lien searches; coordinating with attorneys, clients, courts, and outside parties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience supporting bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, or creditors' rights matters.
• Knowledge of commercial bankruptcy proceedings.
• Familiarity with the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with UCC and lien searches is a plus.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor bankruptcy case dockets and court filings.
• Prepare proofs of claim and other bankruptcy-related documents.
• Assist with pleadings, motions, and case management activities.
• Conduct corporate record, UCC, and lien searches.
• Track deadlines and maintain case files.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, and outside parties.
