Qualifications

Must be a United States citizen.
Multiple years of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant.
Experience with bankruptcy litigation preferred.
Eligible to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Willing to work on-site five days a week.

Responsibilities

Provide paralegal support for bankruptcy trial preparation and litigation.
Coordinate information from various parties with discretion and legal knowledge.
Apply bankruptcy subject matter knowledge to agency programs.
Work closely with the assigned attorney or government official.
Research sources for facts relevant to program matters.
Review documents and extract data for specific items.
Review cases and research for additional information.
Attend hearings or court appearances and assist with reports.
Communicate professionally with attorneys, parties, and court personnel.
Enter and capture information timely into program systems and databases.
Sort and organize mail and documents to support timely access.
Assist with hearing preparation, including pleadings and exhibits.
