This role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and professional communication.

The ideal candidate has previous legal assistant or litigation support experience; bankruptcy experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a legal assistant, litigation assistant, or legal secretary.
• Bankruptcy or litigation experience preferred but not required with transferable skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and litigation support to attorneys and staff.
• Prepare, proofread, organize, and file bankruptcy-related pleadings and other documents.
• Monitor court dockets, calendars, and deadlines.
• Organize electronic case files and supporting documentation.
• Assist with document collection, case prep, and hearing prep.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and others.
• Update case management systems and maintain file accuracy.
• Handle confidential client information with discretion.
• Support additional projects and priorities as needed.
