Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a detail-oriented bankruptc y ledger specialist to complete and monitor ledgers for residential mortgage loan bankruptcies in a fast-paced environment. You will verify payment histories, respond to attorneys, and process required documents throughout the bankruptcy lifecycle.

The role requires strong math, balance-ledger experience, and ability to meet strict deadlines while coordinating with various internal departments.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of bankruptcy experience in banking, finance or mortgage.
• Minimum two years experience balancing ledgers.
• Strong math and accounting skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute and complete ledgers for all bankruptcy processes with high accuracy.
• Verify borrower payment history and resolve posting discrepancies.
• Respond to inquiries from bankruptcy attorneys and other parties.
• Remediate files by researching FiServ/Sagent data and servicer information.
• Process bankruptcy documents and set up filings with accuracy.
• Audit and coordinate corrections across bankruptcy chapters and filings.
