San Juan Law Firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney with 3+ years of bankruptcy and insolvency experience in San Juan, Puerto Rico. You will manage bankruptcy matters from inception through resolution, including intake assessments, client counseling, case strategy, motion practice, and remote court appearances.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one of the following State Bars: Arizona, Florida, Texas, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Georgia.
• Admission to practice before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in candidate’s relevant district(s).
• Strong understanding of Chapters 7 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Manage bankruptcy matters from inception through resolution (mostly Chapter 7, some Chapter 13).
• Handle intake assessments, client counseling, and case strategy.
• Engage in motion practice and remote court appearances.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies for debt relief.
