We are looking for an attorney to join our firm as an associate in our Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice.Our practice advises creditors, debtors, and institutional investors on complex Chapter 11 reorganizations and out-of-court restructurings in Puerto Rico. We provide a collaborative environment where associates handle sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, and litigation matters and gain meaningful and hands-on experience.Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and analyzing bankruptcy and commercial law issues, drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other court filings, and assisting in the preparation and execution of case strategies. The Associate will participate in client meetings, hearings, and negotiations, collaborate with partners and other team members, and coordinate with co-counsel and external stakeholders as needed. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
