Overview

Growing consumer law firm in search of an experienced bankruptcy attorney. The candidate will represent clients in court, prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, advise clients and negotiate legal settlement agreements, work with paralegals and staff to meet all requirements for each case and serve as a reliable advocate for our clients. This position is mostly remote with heavy court appearances scheduled by video and in person.

Requirements
  • MUST BE LICENSED TO PARCTICE LAW IN NEW JERSEY AND PENNSYLVANIA.
  • Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • Litigation experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help clients during very stressful and difficult times.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a regular schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences based on case requirements.
  • Review case-related documents and determine the best course of action for each client in each case.
  • Willingness to work independently on all aspects of your caseload as well as the ability to effectively partner with others, utilize a paralegal's assistance, and collaborate with intake specialists.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
