Job summary

Transition Global, a New Jersey-based law firm, is seeking a Bankruptcy Associate to join its Bankruptcy & Restructuring and Litigation Services teams. You will represent debtors, creditors, trustees, receivers, and assignees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings and related insolvency actions.

The role requires three years of relevant bankruptcy or complex litigation experience and an active New Jersey Bar license.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights, or complex commercial litigation.
• Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
• Strong legal research and writing skills with experience in court appearances or contested matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent debtors, creditors, trustees, receivers, and assignees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings and related state insolvency actions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda in bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters.
• Assist with assignments for the benefit of creditors, receiverships, and other fiduciary representations.
