Job summary

ITTConnect is seeking a Tech Lead to guide software development for a major financial institution in Coral Gables. The role is hybrid and centers on architecting scalable solutions across Angular, Node.js, React, Python, and Java Spring Boot, with Azure, Cloud, and Kafka.

You will ensure security, scalability, and performance while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams and architects to drive business-aligned technology decisions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development processes.
• Experience with Jira for project management and tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience leading software projects and mentoring developers.
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable solutions using Angular, Node.js, React, Python, Java Spring Boot, Azure, Cloud, Kafka.
• Ensure containerized environments are optimized using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Establish best practices for code quality, security, and system performance.
• Mentor developers and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to ensure robust, scalable designs.
• Align technical strategies with business objectives and security requirements.
• Coordinate with DevOps, Data Engineering, BI, and Infrastructure teams for deployment and support.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors as needed.
