Job summary

Century Next seeks an accounting professional to support day-to-day operations in a bank environment. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, and ensuring GAAP compliance while aiding in financial reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and timely processing of accounts payable, depreciation, and regulatory reporting. A bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Three or more years of Accounting experience; OR Equivalent combinations of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations and journal entries.
• Support transactions processing and accounts payable activities.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation; manage prepaid expenses.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulators during reviews and examinations.
• Additional duties as assigned in a professional office setting.
