Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in Missouri is seeking a full-time Bank equipment Installer to install, program, test, and certify alarm systems, CCTV, ATMs, vaults, and related security equipment on site. You will train customers, complete detailed service reports, and support ongoing system start-ups and maintenance while traveling locally as required.

A valid driver's license and customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School/GED or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years relevant field service preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willing to travel locally to jobsites; minimal overnight travel may be required.
  • Experience or interest in fire alarm systems and electronic security systems encouraged.
  • Excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment including security, fire alarm, and life safety.
  • Provide technical support and training for customers and as such are accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Complete accurate and detailed service reports for invoicing and job cost tracking.

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Bank equipment Installer to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer train on assigned projects including alarm systems, CCTV, pneumatic drive-ups, ATMs, vaults, safe deposit boxes, etc. Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.   • Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety. You will be a key interface for the provision of technical support and training for the customer and as such are accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
What You’ll Need
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Willing to learn technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
  • To be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper).
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.
