Job summary

CloudIngest is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with banking/financial services experience to join a high-performing QA team. The role focuses on test automation, API testing, SQL, and Java/Python, with collaboration across developers, BAs, and DevOps in an Agile setting.

Design and maintain automation frameworks, execute automated tests, and ensure scalable, maintainable test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Selenium automation frameworks.
• Proficient in Karate framework and Postman for API testing.
• Strong knowledge of combinatorial test design using IGNITE and Hexawise.
• Programming experience in Java or Python.
• Experience with API integration testing in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API apps.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Karate, and Postman.
• Perform API testing and validate backend data with SQL queries.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with Agile teams.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and drive resolution with dev teams.
