Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tech Project Manager to lead technical projects in banking and payments. The role requires guiding cross-functional teams, maintaining schedules, and delivering Java-based solutions with Jira oversight.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical PM background, familiarity with blockchain/crypto, and the ability to coordinate with technology and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and alignment with objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total professional experience preferred.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or account management.
• Hands-on Jira experience for tracking and delivery management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical projects within banking, account management, payments, and related technology environments.
• Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with technology teams, business stakeholders, product teams, and other cross-functional partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track project progress, milestones, action items, and dependencies using Jira.
• Partner with development teams supporting Java-based applications and technology platforms.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as appropriate.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Support projects involving emerging financial technologies, including blockchain and cryptocurrency, as applicable.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, schedules, and other delivery artifacts.
• Drive collaboration across teams to resolve blockers and maintain project momentum.
