Job summary

Rockland Trust, a full-service commercial bank in Massachusetts, seeks a Business Analyst to support banking operations through testing coordination, business analysis, and process improvements. This hybrid role is based in Plymouth, MA, with onsite attendance three days per week and remote work up to two days, subject to business needs.

The analyst will develop test plans, map data, obtain approvals, and provide ongoing operational support, balancing project-based analysis with daily tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in banking operations or financial services, including testing and implementing applications.
• Experience with data query tools.
• Knowledge of commonly used banking concepts, practices and guidelines.
• Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and document business unit needs and workflows.
• Participate in cross-functional projects supporting system enhancements and process improvements.
• Develop test plans and perform system testing for production changes.
• Provide daily support for core banking applications and ancillary systems.
• Respond to data analysis requests and investigate system issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
