Job description

The Client Demarketing SVP role is a mid-level position within the Banking Portfolio Optimization Group (POG) team. As part of a global initiative to ensure a clean and risk-managed client portfolio, this role will be a responsible for managing the end-to-end offboarding process of commercial and Corporate Banking Clients.

This is a highly visible role that will offer high level exposure to the bank’s global network and cross-functional teams, including Relationship Management, Operations, Service, Business and Product leads. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong product knowledge, attention to detail and a proactive, positive mindset with a drive to learn. The candidate will manage a team of off boarding specialists / associates. The successful candidate should be able to manage multiple parities.

  • Manages the off-boarding team responsible to review and decision the exits volumes for 55 countries coming via ICG toolbox process.
  • Coordination and escalation point for banking exits and future BAU exits for all banking clients
  • Responsible for end-to-end process. Partnering with tech, OPS and other partners to create overall efficiencies in off-boarding process
  • Managing coordination with product partners and other LOBs for multi product relationship exists, managing SLAs expectations
  • Holding governance calls with OPS and products partners to ensure smooth exist process
  • Coordinating with corporate and commercial bank partners for preliminary analysis of target population to devise execution plans
  • Managing audit and compliance expectations
  • Responsible for governance of exits for all counties
  • Preparing reports / matrix to reflect progress and follow ups with multiple stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10 -12 years of experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking, with a strong understanding of all banking products (cash management and credits) and client lifecycle management
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office – Advanced PowerPoint presentation & Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, Vlookups and formulas.
  • Excellent due diligence and analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risk
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident in engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple offboarding cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learn and frow within a global banking franchise.
