Landing Point is seeking a Banking/Finance Clerk in New York, NY to support the Financial Reporting/Banking Unit. You will handle check stop requests, respond to inquiries, and finalize weekly and monthly financial transmissions, ensuring accurate bank reconciliations.

The role requires a bachelor's or associate degree with 24 accounting credits, plus at least six months of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis is essential, with GAAP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in data analysis, reconciliation, and Excel reporting; GAAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage check stop requests and related reissues.
• Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Finalize weekly and monthly financial transmissions.
• Manage daily and monthly bank reports and statements.
• Resolve returned check activities and communicate with members.
• Record daily financial data in Excel to ensure timely reconciliations.
• Assist with UAT and other system-related activities as needed.
