Job summary

Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation seeks a Financial Institutions Examiner Trainee (UMP). Under supervision, you will train to assist with CRA practices, consumer protection laws, and examination activities in banks, trust companies and savings institutions.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or banking; MBA acceptable.
• Background in banking and auditing is preferred.
• Upward Mobility Program credential is included.

Responsibilities

• Travel and receive training to assist examiners with CRA practices and consumer compliance.
• Analyze demographic, economic, and loan data for CRA and Fair Lending compliance.
• Assist higher level examiners and participate in seminars and classroom training.
